Game Update 05 Content Analysis

Roy Awesome is back with another patch content analysis! This time around there are less changes but the patch does reveal an upcoming sale.

This update was very small in terms of unreleased content, as much of the content that will be released in the next few patches was done by GU4. There were a few sound changes and additions to the Lancer and Phoenix to get them ready to release on Friday but no art or animation changes. I believe that we will indeed see them on Friday like planned.

Can we guess what kind of animation changes were made?

#Edit: Ah didn't notice the hastebin. I wonder how big these changes were. An overhaul or small adjustments?

Pulsar C Compensator is too still broken.

Also if you go into the Depot you can preview the Tank Cosmetics. They are already in there with a 1w CD.

I found the hastebin dump interesting.
I cant really make head nor tail of it all but still interesting.

You're interested in rocks on Indar?

You may need to take a break and play on a different cont.

Uh, that was just a correction to the lod of that mesh. I HIGHLY doubt you will ever notice it.

I am still respawning with the load out 1 of any class when I change it in the deployment screen.
If I change it in a terminal, I will keep spawning with the right loud out I selected on the terminal, the bug is on the deployment screen.

Hamma could you call these updates something different? They're very suggestive as to providing a comprehensive content (and possibly even opinion) analysis, where they're more a file extraction analysis.

I'm sure there's a better title to be found even though I can't say I've got some good catchy suggestions right now.

When I go VS Max I start out as a light after I die...even if I was originally an engineer right before I got my Max suit. Is that an error? Its annoying as I usually dont realize it until I try to get out of my Lightning/Magrider/Scythe to repair and find out I'm not an Engi.

I'm open to Suggestions, it's ultimately Roys baby I couldn't think of something better.

I'm game for a name change if you can help me come up with a better one.

I'm styling this after Cyborgmatt's Dota 2 Patch Analysis, which usually has a ton more content in it because :valve:.
