Implant Sale This Weekend - PlanetSide Universe

SOE has announced an Implant Sale coming up on the 15th through the 17th. The Implants appear to be special this time around offering a 50% boost. The Heroic boost weighs in at $50 USD. Additionally it's a DOUBLE XP Weekend until Monday morning Pacfic!

Heroic Boost - 3 Month: This boost will increase your experience and resource gain by 50% for 3 months. Yours for only 3000 Station Cash.

Heroic Boost - 6 Month: This boost will increase your experience and resource gain by 50% for 6 months. Yours for only 5000 Station Cash. Check Bcf Catalogue and Ezibuy Catalogue.

The alpha squad boost takes the same slot as the weekly. That's why some alpha-squaders lost their boost in the beginning, not knowing that the weekly would kill it. Also why they bumped alpha up to 50% in the first place... because it was a disadvantage compared to the 50% weekly boost. (as far as xp gains... not xp/SC cost)

Think of it as a 6-month version of the weekly boost. I imagine it's for only the character you purchase it with as well, like the weekly. (all speculation until it comes out, however)

While it would be great for it to be account oriented, I would agree it would be like the weekly and character specific.
