Would look better without the leg armor and with a full helmet but I'm sure that's customizable.

Could be the new glue gun. If you look at the NC engi picture from the last commlink you can see the tip of something on his right arm.

I like how it looks like he's got one of those bomb squad blast vests on. Fits in with the idea of engineers having resistance to AOE damage that Higby mentioned in the Reddit AMAA.

This is excellent. They've answered our cries for higher BR soldier screenies. Also I'm in agreeance about the facemask. If it were all 1 piece it would be a lot more awesome.

Ya.. I'm with Biohazard here... How do you know this is higher BR? Is there any confirmed visual indicator of BR increasing? Has more color (TR get more red/black, NC get more blue/gold, and VS get more purple/teal) been confirmed, or just widely speculated on? What makes this higher BR? I need to know!

That's the only quote I've seen on it. So your appearance does change as you rank up but nothing about your armor color changing like in PS1.

I figured a higher BR would mean more color (even if it compromises camo)
IE: More Yellow NC, More Green Vanu, More Red TR

Higher BR means wider access to the empire's color palette. So bright reds, darker blacks, greyer greys....you get what I'm saying? So a BR1 wouldn't have access to reds this bright or blacks this dark.

I could be completely wrong and it's just that the vest+backpack are that vivid by default, but I'm just saiyan.

I must say, the detail of characters in this game(engine) can seriously compete with that of Crysis2 or BF3. And they keep saying that things look better and better every week. Can't wait to see the Forgelight vs Unreal Engine 4.0

(and that ass....lol)

All these engineers look like they belong in Mortal Kombat lol. Really impressed with the art direction of them, they truly look amazing

NC engineer looks best so far though
