Flail |
(Antient Technology) |
|
Vehicle
Type: Role: Weapons/Ammo: Occupants: Handling: Top
Speed: Trunk Capacity: Cert Required: |
Heavy Artillery Attack/Defense 100 / Dispersion
Cannon 1 Poor 55 Land / 38 Water 15 x 11 Flail |
The Flail is a massive hover tank that cannot fire at
all unless deployed. However, once deployed, its massive Dispersion Cannon can
fling devastating energy projectiles long distances with indirect fire. Because
it can shoot farther than it can see, obstacles often intervene to prevent
direct line of sight, soldiers can access a terminal on the back of the Flail to
get a Laze Pointer. Introduced:
October 27, 2003 with Core Combat Expansion

Router |
(Antient Technology) |
|
Vehicle
Type: Role: Weapons/Ammo: Occupants: Handling: Top
Speed: Trunk Capacity: Cert Required: |
Deployable Point-to-Point
Teleporter Tactical None 1 Very Poor 59 Land / 42 Water 15 x
11 Ground Support |
This ponderous vehicle can be deployed in the same
manner as an AMS. Once deployed, a station becomes operational on the back
allowing access to a deployable Telepad. **NOTE: This is not an IFF system, your
enemies will be able to use it also. Be wise in your placement. Introduced:
October 27, 2003 with Core Combat Expansion

Switchblade |
(Antient Technology) |
|
Vehicle
Type: Role: Weapons/Ammo: Occupants: Handling: Top
Speed: Trunk Capacity: Cert Required: |
Rapid Assault Rapid Response, Escort 250 /
Scythe Cannon 1 Ultra Nimble 79 Land / 55 Water 15 x 11 ATV
|
|
The Switchblade has a forward-firing Scythe Cannon that
fires "V"-shaped wedges of energy at a rapid speed. The vehicle, when deployed,
becomes a 360 stationary turret with an increased rate of fire allowing this
light vehicle to pour forth destructive power. Introduced: October 27, 2003
with Core Combat Expansion
| |
Laze Pointer |
(Antient Technology) |
|
Fire Mode 1: Range /
Zoom: Certification: |
Temporary Waypoint Generation Long /
4x None |
The Laze Pointer is equipped like a pistol, aim
somewhere, press and hold the fire button to paint an area. Once completed, a
temporary waypoint is created, visible to your squad/platoon. Use the waypoint
to indicate targets for Liberator or Flail gunners, or other points of
interest. Introduced: October 27, 2003 with Core Combat Expansion
| |
Telepad |
(Antient Technology) |
|
Fire Mode
1: Range: Certification: |
Telepad Deployment Long None
|
The Telepad can be deployed at a location inside or
outside, to create a connection between the Telepad and it's Router. This
creates a point-to-point teleportation system. **NOTE: This is not an IFF
system, your enemies will be able to use it also. Be wise in your placement.

BattleFrame Robotics
(BFR) |
Role: Handling: Trunk Capacity: |
Attack/Defense Good 15 x 11 |
|
The BFR features a powerful shield that can absorb
massive amounts of damage. In addition to it's base defense, the shield
recharges continually over time, allowing it to take a significant amount of
fire before taking damage to it's armor.
The BFR comes in two
configurations: Gunner and Flight, each empire has it's own version of BFR, and
each has specialized weaponry unique to that empire.
|
Terran Republic Pilot Weapons: |
Burster Air Defense System: |
Rapidly fires flak shells that explode in the
proximity of enemy air. |
Rotory Chaingun: |
30mm chaingun for defense against infantry and air
targets. With a high rate of fire, low recoil and heavy damage, it will shred
it's targets. The drawback is the high rate of ammo consumption. |
Tank Defense Cannon: |
75mm cannon similar to the lightning, with an
increased projectile speed and slightly accelerated rate of
fire. |
Terran Republic Gunner Weapons: |
Dual 100mm Cannons: |
Launches extremely heavy slugs in a reasonably
straight tank cannon trajectory. Designed to punch through armor effectively,
with a rate of fire comparable to a Prowler's 100mm cannons. |
Mortar Launcher: |
An indirect fire weapon that launches high impact
explosives designed to decimate infantry. It can be fired in single shots or
salvo release of 8 mortars. |
New Conglomerate Pilot Weapons: |
Anti-Tank Machinegun: |
Sprays depleted uranium bullets and chews up armored
opponents. |
Hammer: |
A serious anti-infantry weapon, firing a wide spread
of heavy slugs over a short range. Secondary fire mode tightens the spread of
slugs for a better effect at distance, but does so at the loss of number od
slugs and refire rate. |
Sparrow Missile Pod: |
The Sparrow Anti-Aircraft weapons platform takes a
second or two to lock onto an air target, but once locked, the missiles in it's
payload can be fired rapidly until lock is broken. |
New Conglomerate Gunner Weapons: |
Particle Cannon: |
Converts mass into plasmoid energy and pushes it up
to relative speeds. This sucker punches hard and leaves a minor irradiation
field at the location that it hits, eating away at armor. |
Rocket Pod: |
Fires straight-line rockets in either single shots or
salvo over a short range. |
Vanu Sovereignty Pilot Weapons: |
Continuous Laser: |
An anti-infantry beam inflicting a steady stream of
damage on it's target. |
Pulsed Particle Accelerator: |
Disperses energy pulses at a fairly quick rate and
serves the VS BFR in it's anti-vehicle role. |
Starfire: |
When targeting aircraft you can achieve a weapons
lock. Once achieved, the plasma spheres launched will guide in on that target,
destroying the target rapidly as it burns. |
Vanu Sovereignty Gunner Weapons: |
Immolation Cannon: |
Fires a straight-line energy projectile that impacts
in an area effect explosion designed to penetrate armor.
|
Plasma Mortar: |
An indirect anti-infantry weapon that fires a mass of
plasma to create a field that burns it's target on contact.
|
Common Pilot Weapons: |
Armor Siphon: |
Enables a BFR to siphon armor from enemy vehicles and
other BFRs, but not MAX armor, to replentish it's own. Instead of a depletable
ammunition pool, this component system uses a capacitor that recharges
automatically over time. |
NTU Siphon: |
Allows the pilot to transfer NTU from enemy silos
into a repository within the BattleFrame. The pilot is then able to transfer it
back into friendly silos or release some of it in an area effect EMP blast that
disables implants, vehicle weapons systems and Combat Engineering
deployables. | |

Vehicle Security: Vehicles can be
stolen (jacked) from enemy empires, allowing you to gain a vehicle you would not
normally have access to. As far as stealing friendly vehicles, it is possible.
The owner of a vehicle can set permissions on it, limiting friendly access.
Permissions include locked (owner access only), Empire (Everyone can hop in) and
Group (Only squad and platoon members can pilot/ride).
