This will be a great fight. DWG are great bunch of lads and are hungry for it. I wouldn't dismiss 252v though as tactically they are better imo.

From my NC experience, I would say that 252 may talk alot and PRETEND to be tactical, but they really aren't. Of 3 Miller NC giants - Consortium, WASP and 252, only CONZ are somewhat capable. Still, they are a mile off from PS1 MercenaryS.

Also knowing DWG and 252, this clash is going to be all about Air again I think...

What I would love to see however is teams utilizing more teamplay tools, and I believe DWG is capable of that... By such tools I mean radar-ESFs (if I am not mistaken, they were almost the first to set a standard for AMP Station radar scythe), MANA-walls, AI minespam, HE vehicle weaponry... Everything that will add abit of flavor in turn for adding a little OP.

Because the way it works right now is - all the matches are the same - Air and Infantry fight each other while 2 empires are doing a lapdance around the map, ghosthacking (I blame the rules here, though), that is NOT fun to watch without proper spectator tools.

Good call getting more EU involved. Things are drying up on this side of the pond. Will be nice to see some new teams give it a try. Might be worth the effort to get Pro7 to promote it somehow as well.

Pro7 will come up with its own EU ladder competition. It might involve ESL as well at some point.

hopefully this match is competitive, and by that I mean watchable. Last few RCCC's have looked more like public executions.

Cmon... I'm just being objective there... DWG is a league you're not in. Not because you're noobs or anything, but because from my experience with DWG, their level of microcontrol (if the term can be applied to shooters) as a team is much higher. Your best shot IMO is to play defensively, forcing them to zerg constantly, partially removing their strength of individuality. If you go into offensive (as opposed to counter-offensive), you risk losing alot.

This troubles me far more than it should.

What exactly makes you think WASP isn't capable? PM me the answers so we can keep this thread on topic. We sell ourselves as offering some of (if not the best) teamwork and organisation you can get on NC Miller, and we don't have a 90% weekly member retention rate of 100 players (discluding alts) for nothing.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to this. 252v are formidable allies of ours and DWG, while tactically superior, don't have that shock and awe factor 252 has. A tense, close fight for sure.
