I wanna be the first to say that in the picture with the jetpack you also see a TR soldier equipped with a NC rifle of some type... weapon swapping maybe some how?

The TR backpack(not jetpack) looks terrible. Make it look like the current one.

That is clearly a TR soldier holding a Gauss Rifle.

Well, looks like weapon scavenging made it in after all.

Take note of the backpack on one of the chars. Also, notice how all the armor types are similar.
The "Rexo" looks like Agile only with thigh and elbow guards, and a different helmet.
Now we have some class with a backpack, possibly an engineer.
THEN you have the TR soldier with a Gauss.

If you ask me, it looks like, as long as you're not an Infiltrator or inside a MAX suit, you'll possibly be able to swap loadouts off dead characters, like in the Battlefield series. It would only swap some extra protection, backpack and maybe the helmet, much like in Battlefield. Talk about flexibility and "seamlessly switching between roles"!

Also, the TR Infil... Hot stuff.

Moving on, the TR soldier with the Gauss rifle has a "noobish" color pattern on his chestplate and shoulder guards, much like with the different-BR color schemes in PS1.

nah most of us knew that. The real question was "are they planning a PS4 launch or tie-in into Planetside 2?"

I'm beginning to wonder...

Matt clearly said no weapon swapping and then there was a pretty big storm on the forums about it; to the point several threads were started and many comments in threads on other topics.

Now we see weapons being held by factions other than their standard faction...

So... so does this mean SOE is... LISTENING?!?!?!

Maybe they felt like kit switching, at least with some of the more standard weapons, wasn't as much of a balance deal as stealing a tank?
