If they are sensible they will stagger the introduction of servers so that the populations remain reasonable "dense"

No point haveing too much capacity is there..

That's genious. Now the devs don't have to sort through hundreds of spam in forums like, "No I don't like that" or "Yeah that's nice!" posts. They just see the suggestion, and that's that. Brilliant!

BTW for those of you who didn't catch on, that's an example of sarcasm. We all know the suggestions will all go to a mailbox that will never be checked, or has a bot that auto-deletes all mail in it. Looks like we got the cold shoulder from Sony, huh?

They probably want 'less traffic' of weird people running around flaming.

Also to reduce the amount of people just wandering in from the net and saying "PLANETSUCK, PLANETSUCK" and then forumers counter-flaming.

But it stifles the community sorta.

First. The official forums just suck ass. period. why should we care if they're being "raped" per se? Second. people are fucking over reacting to the exp system. Ok now your base cap only gets you 800 points instead of 3000, but what does it matter. Do you really want to achieve BR20 in 3 weeks? Didn't think so. Also the exp system penalizes griefers more and promotes squad experience more.

We do acually have a General Chat forum up and running. The first post was made when we still had a few decisions to make regarding the format of the forums and had not yet published the General Chat forum. I closed that thread because a fresh start gives me the opportunity to keep the forums on-topic from the start. I gave him the feedback email because we had not yet determined what other option that poster would have later in the day. As I did it, I knew it would make me seem mean, but like I said, I do want to keep the forums on-topic.

General Chat, however includes anything not covered in the other forums and so it is possible to go off-topic. PlanetSide discussion is welcome there and I will often reply.
