If you've already purchased Alpha Squad, you know it has some great benefits such as weapon unlocks, a camo set, and tons of Station Cash. Starting this week, we are happy to offer even more.
Want to be sure you grab your name? All members of Alpha Squad will have the opportunity to reserve theirs for the game launch on November 20th. Keep an eye on your email Monday for instructions. If you haven't bought the Alpha Squad package yet, this is your chance! Grab it today on the official PlanetSide 2 website. Also the Beta program will end officially on 11/16 at 11:59 PM PT so get in while you can and fight for Auraxis! UPDATE: Name Reservation for Alpha Squad Members will go live Monday November 5th at 7am Pacific Last edited by Hamma; 2012-10-31 at 03:14 PM. |

Not the piss poor management, netcode, performance, hacking, balance, etc. I doubt most people want the above to be copied from PS1. |

No open beta?
So much for it will be done when its done. I honestly believe we will all look back on this rushed release as a big negative turning point the game took. I have a lot of faith in PS2. But SOE never has failed to dreadfully amaze me.

I suspect that, post-launch, PlanetSide 2 will be open beta in name only, as Higby said they plan to never stop adding to the game's content...
What I don't want to find is that they've rushed the hotfixes like they did during SOE Live, all so that they can promise releasing it for November 20th. Most players will understand if there's a slight delay; the important thing is that the game is stable, or nobody will be particularly happy. Last edited by Hyncharas; 2012-10-29 at 04:39 PM. |
