The cocktail thread

Beer is nice and all, but what about something a little stronger?

Back in the days of DAOC, my friends and I used to drink cocktails, usually White Russians (Don't ask me why, I've forgotten, usually by the next day), while LANing for PvP in Emain.

So, what would each faction's cocktail of choice be?

If I go NC, I'd drink Adios MFers. If I went Vanu, I'd probably drink cranberry margaritas, and if I went TR, I'd probably get used to drinking Bloody Mary's.

I'm also just curious in what kind of cocktails you guys have tried. I'm always looking to try new ones.

NC would be rye and coke. The non-beer every generic jackoff drinks at a bar on a Friday night. Dey took are space-jerbs!

VS would be Death in the Afternoon. A fancy-pants drink of absinthe and champagne Hemingway came up with. Lets drink an obscure absinthe cocktail and reflect on the duality of man.

TR would drink a Jack Rose. Mainly because it's red and I enjoy it and I also play TR. There's probably a better choice out there. What was Hitler's favorite cocktail?

The AMoFo is a good drink, but I'm experimenting with combinations of Zwack and Bushmills Irish Honey. NC go their own way, amiright?

When I'm gaming, I usually stick to whiskey neat, although I'm known to sip on a Gin Gimlet or a Harvey Wallbanger as well.

I really hate Galliano. I drank my share of Harvey Ballbangers, as my brother called them, and never could get over the Galliano.

I don't know what the NC or TR would drink, but Vanu definitely drink peach schnapps.

a drink I like to have for sipping when Im out it the Vesper. 2 parts gin, 1 part vodka, half part vermouth, with a lemon twist.

When Im not in the sipping mood, its usually a Gin and Tonic, or Vodka Tonic.
