This sounds like typical "I have a friend on the dev team and im going to post some exclusive sounding info so you all believe me" babble so I hope a dev can squash this fast or give us a little info if this is indeed the case.

EDIT: After re-reading it. Im thinking it was just a sarcastic post baiting for more info but meh.

If i remember good computing practice from high school, then one major thing you have to do is keep back ups of your important data, so in this case the entire game and depending how often the information is updated is how often they would back it up, so even if this was believable the developers would have only lost maybe 1-2 weeks work at worst, most likely they would have lost none if they back-uped often.

Trollface is trolling.

Secret and proprietary information is usually very closely guarded. Even if they did get hacked, I would expect them to not have lost a single day simply because I'm sure they have backups. Also, hackers now days are interested in copying the information, not necessarily deleting it.

EDIT: also, looks like the guy is talking about their integration with Chinaside, which sounds to me more like an issue with The9, who may well indeed have been hacked, but I don't see how that could possibly damage the actual game.
