Well I was looking at some other fan sites and I found this at Planetside Shuttle:
http://www.forumplanet.com/3dactionp...754&tid=945614 I knew about the 7-12 bases on each continent, but we also get to take over 30 gun towers on each continent! This should add a bit more depth to the strategy. Should you go straight for the base, or take any nearby gun towers first so that you have a better base of operations to launch your attack from.

Gun towers will be perfect assembly areaas. They'll often be closer to the enemy, and possibly harder to take. They portect the assembling soldiers so I think they'll be ued that way alot. Probably the base will be attacked first because taking losses from a tower w0uld be annoying.

We havent seen any screenshots or have any other info about them. It will be interesting to see how big they are and other general info like that. What I want to know about is the 'gun' part of the gun towers. How many turrets will they have, and what will they be like, just like the turrets at bases or different.

never believe anything off shuttle, they haven't updated their info in two years.
