What continent would you like to see return?

I know the game hasn't even been released yet, but it is never too early to think about new continents that could be created. I hope that eventually every Planetside 1 map can be remade. The question, however, is if you had to pick one continent from the original game to make a return in Planetside 2, which continent would you choose?!

These were the continents in the original Planetside.
Ceryshen
Ishundar
Cyssor
Searhus
Forseral
Amerish
Esamir
Hossin
Oshur (old)
Oshur (new)
Solsar

From what we can tell, I believe Esamir, Amerish, and Ishundar are the three continents that will be available at release and are making a return in Planetside 2. For this reason, I did not include these continents in the poll.

Feel free to explain your choice after you vote and share stories about your favorite continents! Also you could include information about changes you would make to the continent or updates.

Because the three continents we'll have at launch will (most likely) be divided into separate biodomes, most continents from PS1 would be redundant. What wouldn't be, on the other hand, is Cyssor (archipelago) and Searhus (volcanic). I chose Searhus because I'd REALLY like to see what Forgelight can do with a volcanic continent.

I disagree.

Just like the continents making a return in Planetside 2, they wouldn't be exact remakes. Instead they are just similar to the original concept.

Exactly Sephirex. They won't be as "plain" as Planetside 1. The maps won't be exact remakes they will have more depth and stay true to the original theme of the map.

but a big part of what made it what is was was the volcano and the fact that you could barely fly over it in the right spots.

To me is between Cyssor and Searhus.

Cyssor because of the great battles that took place their in that bridge.


Searhus because of the Volcano, I think it will look amazing in Planetside 2.

Exactly. I'm not saying a feature will or won't make a return, I am simply stating that saying certain continents are repetitive doesn't make sense because Planetside 2 can make a lot better continents and give them more depth. Each continent from the original has its own "feel".
