The Terran Republic is all about power and dominance, the two most dominate symbols of power for a military government are superior firepower and heavily armored machines rolling down the streets and running over your children.
I actualy agree with you on this. However, if they did increase the armor, I belive they would need to decrease the maximum speed and handleing as well in order to maintain balance.

It makes sence that the tank with a 3-man crew would have both more firepower and more armor, but wouldn't be as powerful.

There's where you got me. I have no idea how good the handling of the Vangaurd is, never tried it.

today on forseal i actually saw 4 prowlers and a sunderer sitting on a hill shelling a base!!!!! hehe look at the pic it was cool to see them all lined up shelling, the pic was taken when they were retreating though. and no i didnt launch that orb lol. http://www.xenforcers.com/uploads/4prowlers.JPG

I spent 10 battle ranks in a Prowler and about 5 in a Vanguard. The prowler out-handles the Vanguard so bad it isnt even funny
