Right now there is almost no reason. I mean unless there is a way for people to "surrender" or "defect" then there may be a feature for some roleplay say to interrorgate, recruit, spy, and other stuff.

I had posted a counter-strike event for PS1. Basicly a hostage rescue plan. Each empire has one hostage from another empire who has no implants standard exosuit and a cleared inventory. Each empire trys to "rescue" their hostage while protecting the one they have.
