I would love to start a liberator outfit with escort.
I know that my outfit's starting role will be outdoor mobile infantry. We load up in APCs with AV and medics and will hopefully have the numbers to field support tanks and gunships. Its a concept I only saw a few times in PS1 but if done correctly, it could be unbeatable. After the outfit gets big enough, I want to make a second one. |

Liberty will follow the same pattern as in PS1 - start with mechanized infantry (tanks and buggies) and then evolve with the game.
Mechanied infantry is the core of the game and is always viable and a productive way to play and influence the battle. Its also a fast way to level up BR. The more support oriented players drive the tanks and buggies and also pick up medical, hacking, and/or MAX and what not while the gunners are more dedicated infantry grunts. Makes for a good balanced force capable of both spearheading an advance in the field as well as do well on foot and indoors. Certs stay fairly specialized but can branch out in many directions. In PS1 after a few months we moved on to pioneer rapid response tactics as we observed invasion patterns and worked side battles, but that was after most of us had reached max BR as it was less action with more time being spent traveling between locations than actually engaging the enemy. But we still hopped in tanks and buggies and helped spearhead the zerg now and again and used aircraft for more rapid transport to hotspots. Without knowing more about the game, that's the best plan I have for outfit fun and success. |

The advancement and development is the players job, not the characters. I don't mind paying for access to stuff, since a mans gotta eat. I can respect that. Its the same amount of content parceled out to you a bit at a time. Its also a mechanic designed to play to your addictive tendencies you so that you will play, and pay, longer. And theres nothing to get over. It is what it is. Just not my preference is all. Nobody likes every single aspect of a game. |

Ah the glory days, when all the cont's were pop locked. I remember one night i was the highest ranking officer online in my outfit and we had 100 people online waiting for my orders. That was the night i completely fell in love with planetside.
