Keep in mind folks they have stated they would like to make PS2 more of a sandbox this time around, adding resources, personal territory control, and even space combat and conquest down the line. That makes lore rather important in my book for setting the stage of not only the FPS nature but the eventually explorable and conquerable universe around Auraxis.
