Did you know that WoW was once an e-sport? There have been more "e-sports" then I can count, that everyone forgot about less then six months later. Do we want Planetside 2 to be another one of those forgotten e-sports?
If we want Planetside 2 to be a game people are playing competitively for years, then it must be a competitive game first. It must be something that people naturally want to compete with, rather then SOE wanting it. You cant put the cart before the horse.
