I guess the couple must really love each then...

As pathetic as that sounds, it's actually pretty amazing that a couple could stay together entirely without sex. And it's pretty obvious that they loved each other, seeing that they wanted to have children. You almost... almost have to admire them. I mean, virtually no one marries unless they feel like their future spouse is going to be good in the bedroom.

That said, "OMfG! CORROSION's MOOMMY!"

Oh, and that couple's still pathetic in the end.

I find it incredulous that this guy never ever ONCE figured out that when his pee-pee gets stiff around his wife, that there's nothing he can do about it. I also find it tragically sad that never once did anyone ever tell this guy about the birds and the bees, that he never ever ONCE saw a nudie magazine or went to a porn site or saw it on TV.

This is GERMANY we're talking about. I don't know if anyone here has ever been there before, but dude- if you turn on the TV at night after about 8 or 9pm, that's what you see on mainstream TV. It's everything but the actual sexual penetration (ie not hardcore, not softcore, but more like chubbycore or morning-woodcore).

Arranged marriages tend to last longer than unarranged marriages as the expectation for them to work is much lower.

And yeah, I don't believe that two people who didn't know about the birds and the bees came together. Seems too much like coincidence.

maybe the arrangers of their marriage did it intentionally, and this clinic just ruined a spectacular plan to improve the genome. think about it:
