Harddrive running hot.....

My comp-specs:

Barton 2500+
512 MB DDR-Ram (dual ram enabled)
GF-4 4800 128 MB

The major problem is, that the game gets somewhat slow in larger battles. I don�t think this has anything to do with my network-connection since I have a dsl-broadband access.

The comp has problems catching up and the harddrive light is blinking all the time. That brings me to the conclusion, that PS uses the swapfile extensively.

Is 512 mb RAM not enough to enjoy the game?

512 is sufficient, but not spectacular. You will have some problems in the truly massive zergfests. Get a bit more memory if you can. (There is a reason that PS came with the RAM coupon. )
