I know a lot of people have nice cards with lower fps than normal in PS.
I normally get 30 when stuff is going on, and about 50 max. I've got a 9700 pro and I run everything on. I know that 's pretty good, but I was curious if anyone had found anything to up their fps yet.

I have a GeForce4 TI 4200 128MB ram on board and run smoothly with most of my textures at medium. Flora is set at medium as well.
I'm not interested in how the game looks, I'm interested in dodging bullets and staying alive. If that means that the trees look like a bad stick figure, then that's what I'll run it at.

Hello,
Use the new /stats command, and change your settings to low, medium and high. Check the FPS differences. You'll end up shutting OFF a lot of options once you see the HUGE difference. This is a FPS, so don't worry so much about pretty things. The only thing I worry about now is FPS and field of view (too low of settings, and you lose distance seen). |
