Best Medium Assault weapon: Gauss, Cycler, Pulsar

Though one... Pulsar has a cone thats pretty equal to the gauss but the gauss has some annoying features (muzzle flash and sound). Cycler has the nasty RoF. The Pulsar has a nasty AV mode. My vote goes to the Pulsar because of it's versatility. You don't hear alot of ppl brag about taking maxs with a Cycler. However, if you take agile Vs agile, Cycler Vs Pulsar, the Cycler has a clear advantage when it comes to CQB. Personally i think all the medium weapons are similar at midrange.

Anyway. I'd have to go with Guass. The Cone of Fire makes it extremely accurate in the right hands. True, the muzzle flash and sound is an attention getter, but I guess it's got to have some downside.

Not that I'm complaining in any way whatsoever, but this seems to be turning into 'PS Official Wish List' part 2. Before they start adding weapons and more vehics etc etc, Gameplay and Bug issues should be addressed first. It's not the limit of equipment thats pushing people away, its the fact that its laggy as all hell, and people are paying for it thats pushing people away. I know that most of us, myself included, are loyal enough to stick through whatever comes because we love the game. But, instead of adding more things to create lag, the existing probs should be taken care of first. Aw hell since i'm here, might as well drop a few wooden nickels worth...

More outfit insignias! Either make more or let people submit their own if they've achieved a certain point..i.e

Personally, I prefer my Cycler, it's just a damn good all-round weapon, it's good at long range, not as good as the Gauss but close, it's the best at medium ranges, it's worse then the sweeper up close, but not that much, and is a superior weapon then the pulsar, cept maybe inside shotgun range, it sounds cool, it looks cool, it's the best-gun-ever.

Pulsar! I know everyone says they suck, but whenever I pick one up I become a killing machine. It has made me consider defecting on more then one occasion (Just don't tell my CO. ) All the others I rate about the same.

I'm very happy with pulsar since they changed it. I have taken down many max and it does fairly well at medium/short ranges.

I say the Cycler is best out of the 3 Emp. Specific Med Assault weapons. It has the highest RoF and is usually pretty accurate.

I think medium assault weps are very balanced, while still remaining distinctive.

That being said, I love my cycler. Best string of kills with cycler before being killed is 22.

I like gauss. It's xactly same as cycler in terms of accuracy i think, so in a case where ur 35 yarsds away from a guy crouching with a cycler, and u have a guass, and u both start firing little bursts, the gauss will win becuz it does more damage. so i voted gauusss

I love my Cycler.

Not a big fan of the heavy weapons. Versitility and Power of the Cycler are perfect for my style. Usually carry 2. One with regular ammo and the other with AP. Nothing more fun than taking down a Max with a Med assult weapon. heh heh.

Gauss is good, but the clip size is too small for my taste.

Pulsar, is very good too. Seems like every time I snag one I end up dead. So, it's a pain in the ass to keep my locker stocked with them.

cycler all teh way...with its combo of the high RoF and accuracy i can about 90% of the time take out someone useing a gauss or pulsar

Cycler's the best. When fired in bursts, it has near pinpoint accuracy, same with gauss, but cycler carries more bullets and has a higher RoF. Pulsar's projectiles travel slower than cycler and gausses, and do less damage, though the AV is pretty handy.
