Hell i don't have a very high-end rig and i bought it. Of Course the game made me hellbent to get my full 512 memory working (ordered 512 with the comp, ibm was too lazy to install the second 256, and dont have enuf money to get more )
The game is great. But if you want twitch you're lookin at the wrong game. Like all the above said, you can't really go into this game solo and expect to do well. So uh....ah whatever Ok let's see...ranted bout rig....game's great....yea that's about it :P |

its not twitch like CS from the point of view that you cant shoot people 3 times in the torso and expect them dead - the damage system is more like quake or unreal [lacking in location damage however]. i persoanlly wish it was a bit more like the CS damage system [even without location damage] but i said this once before and got flamed.

My friend (who is a l33t hacking wh0re) and has a full time job at a sweet company says that SWG is AWESOME. It fits more along the line of Half-PS, Half-Anarchy Online, with a touch of George Lucas tossed in for character.
What's funny is that SWG and PS are both SOE games...

Those "bad reviews" were published the day of release. I'm sure they got a real informed opinion posted on it. And sure, plenty of people played the beta... but since when is the beta of enough merit to make an informed statement on the game?
SWG rocks. |
