Today on ishundar, the NC had just taken it over on Emerald. They even had us pinned to the TR sanc warpgate. I had some peeps driving marduk neutral and needed to get my ant there... So i pull up to sanc wg, and see that theres an enemy vanguard, prowler and 8 grunts roamin around campin. Well 4 or so TR grunts are messing around with em, u know doing the basic run in out stuff. I decide to make a run for it, so i floor it out, only to get shot at by a phoenix and hustle back into wg to repair. The strange thing is, while no other TR or NC could shoot each other (the ones that were milling about like in the outer fringe thats not really in a wg) I ran over 2 NC grunts getting back into the wg. So i was like wtf kool and repaired it. Then i decided to try again, Did a circle, this time got 2 more. I repeated the process till all 8 of the NC grunts became backpacks from my ant. The 4 guys there that were watching were laughing their asses off. Anyways i have come up with a few xplanations for this.

1. its a bug
2. becuz its the sanctuary warpgate, the NC soldiers cannot pass into it therefore making them vulnerable to outside attacks.
3. i am just teh 1337ness

i have seen one thing like that in late beta. me and SL are running to a tower, and we have a van escort. we roll through wg ang this TR runs into it too. si the van driver tries to run him over and misses. he tries gain and runs him over i was LMAO.

i think u can do that because ur in a vehicle and not shotting nothing. a wg is kinds like a mini sanc imo and u cant shoot peeps in sanc but u can run them over.

No, you cannot run people over in the warpgates like they were mini sancs. I suspect you're rigfht on your first assumption. Since it was a TR Sanc warpgate the NC got no protection from it and therefore you could squish them.

Pretty sure it's a bug, i've always been able to be invulnerable in the outter layer of the vanu sanct wg on oshur. Then again no one ever tried to run me over in that position. Oh well, still very funny.

OOOOH YEAH and this complicates things more now, i also hit a friendly by accident when doing that. probably shoulda mentioned it b4.
