Cloaker bugs suck

These cloaker bugs are old but still pissing me off. The one I'm most pissed about is that if you are newly spawned and a cloaker was in the spawn room you see him as if he wasn't cloaked or something like that. Well either way its very easy to spot cloakers if you have just spawned and they were in the spawn room when it happened. This happened today to me on Oshur I think. I was sitting in a SR with about 20 vanu and was trying to refrain from hacking an eterm and get my max cuz I wouldn't gotten shot to hell. Then the famous Arakiel (:P) spawns and shoots me and kills me. I telled him and he told me I was bugged, we had a good chat. Post your angry stories here too, I know your pain.

I halfway feel bad for my victim, but I do so love getting one shot full health sniper kills that I can't force myself to stop driving bolts through infiltrators that have lit up like friggin christmas trees.

I just wished they'd fix the rifle bug. Had an infiltrator Jackhammer me today.

Im not sure if its a rifle bug or just some other bugs. I've experience a few weird things.

For example me and a couple of other Terrans were basically hanging back at a base to keep it from getting hacked while till we got the hack on the next base on the lattice. I knew NC would be coming in and they were. Now I'm running around in Reinforced, Cycler, Thumper. I kill a several NC. Most of them I got the jump on. They'd all face me and fire. Except this one cloaker who I kept finding with Darklight. I killed him a couple of times and then he sends me a tell to the equivalent of "I didn't know cloakers could carry Cyclers." I replied to him that I wasn't a cloaker and he could feel free to check the web site for my certs. The point is he said he couldn't see me.

I didnt doubt him. But hell, this game is so buggy, Im not sure why he couldnt see me. The others I fought had no problem seeing me once they faced me.

Cloakers have some real frustrating bugs which is one of the main reasons I don't play one much. But I wanted to share that story with you to at least let you consider that perhaps its not a cloaker, but some odd bug. Make note next time it hapens of the person who did it and look them up on My Planetside. I realize thats not full-proof, but at least in my sitation a person could see I wasn't a cloaker using an exploit. I was just bugged.

they fixed it to were infiltrators cant carry rifle sized objects.

I'm not sure it's an easy to fix bug, since the engine renders everything from a base state (like neutral pose, uncloaked) to a current state (like crouched, cloaked) when you spawn.

Sorry about killing you, but it's hard to ignore cloakers when you catch them that way even though it's a kinda lame bug :/

I got one for ya. I got killed by an invisable TR inside of a base witha handheld maurader that used lasher ammo.

Ya heard me. Either that or it was a cloaked normal troop. I recognized the cloak 'blur' come towards me, but I had my REK out. The familiar sound of Jackhammer spam acknowledged my death.
