if you add the word 'Some', in front of that paragraph, I'd tend to agree with you.

you could even get away with 'Most'.

the Commanders I've seen so far, have all been pretty good.

but then again, a Commander is only as good as the soldiers he/she commands.

if the soldiers suck, and can't listen to direction or take information given from a Commander and make decisions based on that info ...then yeah, the CR5 is gonna suck too.

Some CR5s arent much use, but i'd rather have them than not. A lot of CR5's on werner are very good, some are even kind enough to sort out all the ants for the Zerg as well as keeping us up to date with tactical info. Lets face it, most of them dont lead squads anyway, the CR XP is useless to them.

I have to hand it to them, they do do a lot except for some. They have done alot to get CR5 and they are still helping the game with global and other ways to get they're message to everyone. I mean some people yell at the CR's when they say "everyone on Oshur go after base X and base Y" or something like that. They're just trying to help and other people tell them to screw it. I don't get why they could be so upset, it's just a few messages, he's doing all he can and what he thinks best, and there's even worse stuff people are saying on broadcast. Not unless they're spamming like mad don't get angry with them.

And other people wait until a leader makes ONE mistake before they critize him and say that they could do a better job. It's a hard job to lead with some of these hot tempered people on planetside, some people even flame them for asking "is there an ant already on route?". Well I think I've said maybe alittle to much but oh well.

If you don't want to do what they suggest, then don't. You have that freedom and you really don't need to make a big deal out of it. Some of them are actually very helpful. Others don't have a clue. If you still need to have a fit and it's too much for you, then I suggest you work on getting CR5 for yourself and let's see if you can do better.

We all know that some of them suck. Most of us just choose not to make a big deal out of it.

Some are helpful.. but most end up pulling troops from the cont you want to stay on thus making it so the game is not fun. So you have no choice but to follow the zerg commands

Well, taking Emerald for example, any Zerg that gets us away from f**king Solsar I am all for. I am sick and tired of playing on Solsar night after night so I just wont go there any more. So it is refreshing when a commander wants to zerg across Foresal for example.

I wish all the TR would get out of Solsar, the past week has been nothing but TR nad NC zerg on Solsar, its fun occasionaly, but its starting to get old.

Yep it used to be the same with Amerish, tr and vanu fighting every day, all day. I agree, does get kind of boring when fighting in the same place every day. Wonder what continent will be next for everyday fighting.

I dont understand why anyone wants to play so much on that shitty desert hell. Fight over Cysor or Amerish, or Searhus, but Solsar? gimme a friken break

I think it has to do with the exellent balance of terrain and good fights. Amerish is the Vanu Club Med on Emerald and anytime you cap a base a zerg force of about 150 seems to pour out of the hills and swarm you. Searhus needs to have it's flight ceiling adjusted somehow or flying there is more of a pain than a pleasure. Cyssor is as flat as a 6 year old and while that can make for some good fights outside bases it can be a pain in the ass when trying to take cover.

Solsar offers good fights in intersting terrain. As a tank driver yeah Cyssor is easier, but it's almost too easy.

Gah...Amerish is fucking hell for us NC on Emerald. As soon as we grab a base it's zerged by a combined force of TR and VS. And they come from opposite sides, too, so the only time they actually meet up and fight against each other is during occupation of the base--after we've been evicted. great.
