Now that Turkeyday is over and the toilet is clean, do you decorate for christmas, or atleast put up a tree. If so, have you started?
*sigh* My mom made me start already yesterday. We had a big pile of junk toys that i just threw up in the attic and then i got all the x-mas stuff down, and the tree (we got a fake one due to loose of transportation(mom crashed it 2 years ago for the 9th time). I got the tree decorated already yesterday after we got home from feeding the homeless at those shelters. Now the whole place is dusted so i gota put the table decorations. But i still got to clean the walls of my brothers....art work. And I got to clean the eves outside of all teh yuky spiders, then fix the icicle lights (I left them up all year-much easyer). Then also I gota put up other outside decorations. Though I thought of doing the thing with the witch running into the house, instead of that making it a santa.....dunno it kinda would be funny.... |

We've got a tree, but we're not sure if we need to decorate. My mother-in-law is going over to Italy for christmas to see her daughter and newborn, and she normally handles all the christmas gatherings. I probably will put up the Christmas tree and my wife will put up her small Christmas Village that my mother started her on a couple of years ago.
Each year she sends my wife another piece for the village, and each has a theme to it. First year she sent out the School and a house, because I started college that year and we were living in our first house. Not sure what she'll send this year.

Itally actually originally had a witch as a Santa Clause type character. The storyline was that there was a good witch who wanted to give baby Jesus a present also, but was very far behind the 3 wise men. After the star of Bethlehem set she became lost and so to this day she stops at every house and leaves presents in hopes that the Christ-child might live there. I'm not sure if that's still the case in Italy today though. Santa Clause might have drop-kicked her.

:/ yay, I finished.
Though one shelf I noticed has very little lighting. If my grandparents let me, I'm going to put some lights behind the eves on top of the shelf. Oh, and I'm going to take pictures of my work i've done inside-just to show off my l337 decorative skills. |

*shudders* Christmas has evolved into a commercial holiday... I let it go a long time ago... No tree's or flashy lights over here. I might give a gift or two.. but that's about it. It's usually spent time with my girlfriend or close friends. But since Chantal is at St-Justine hospital for some time cause of her sickness and I dumped my girlfriend some time ago... I'm probly only going to drop the flowers on my parents grave and then sit at home with a bottle of porto and a couple of friends.

^ Mmm, go buy a gun now, wait the 3 days or whatever, go out in the woods, find a nice little family of deer snuggling in a small nestle of bushes or something, give them the gun for defense, go back home, grab the remote and push the button that detonates the explosive you put in the gun for the deer.

We have to hold the ladder as my mom goes into the roof attic (no stairs) and pretty much drops the boxes of stuff, and we catch.
Hard as hell.

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |
