DAoC (please don't kill me)

I'm thinking about buying DAoC gold edition because its like $20 now anyway. Plus I need a nice little MMORPG to hold me off until Middle-Earth Online.

DAoC is a great game much better then EQ anyway(or was...heard that EQ fixed a lot of shit)....are you sure Middle-Earth will be worth it? I think World of Warcraft will be much better.

welll I was never a big warcraft fan...back like 3 years ago I went shopping and bought Age of Empires instead of WarCraft II. that basically changed my path as a gaming career.

There are currently two expansions for DAOC/ one is Shouded Isles wich is in the gold edition, geared at played level 35+. But its very easy to get a new char there to 10 in about an hour or so.

The second is Trials of Atlantis (TOA) A very very high level expansion, 45+ (Note the level cap is 50) And has fantasic drops and dungions.

Just buy the gold edition, its a waste of money to buy TOA if you only plan on playing it till WoW.

DAOC is a good game to hold you over to a newer MMORPG... I suggest you be Midgard if you do..

I'm getting Horizons to hold me over soon.. :P
