Idea developed on the community night. Id love to see a new vehicle along with AMS router cert that enables an empire to punch one small hole in the force domes. This thing can make a hole small enough for ONLY infantry (no MAXs). It has a small cloaking bubble (too small for other vehicles). Only one of them can be deployed at a time on a dome. Easily flanked, allows ppl to get in but not too many.

if a zerg would be suppressed by an impenetrable dome, but they had a vehicle that could get some people inside, the natural solution is to use that vehicle, now imagine a zerg being forced to use them, the force dome would have no purpose if there was a vehicle like this, causing it to get spammed to hell
bad idea, but with some restrictions it may work

Yeah, just what we need, force us to depend on CR5s even more. Forget that, besides, they already have developed a shield piercer, it's called a FLAIL. Not only does it pierce the shield, it brings the whole dang thing down.

No shit. Read the article. You want a shield breaker? Flails and ANTs working together can drop a shield in record time if you're organized. Putting some hokey-ass shield breaker or shield piercer vehicle or weapon in the game as a counter is a BAD idea. Since the domes are only going to be around a few bases, *AND* since the infiltrator can already break through the dome, this idea is pretty much moot.

They dont know for certain if the inf can get through yet and its a real possiblity that Outfit owned bases will have them able to be turned on. And how many outfits are thier? Enough to get a majority of bases to have the damn dome. This idea is for small squads. not zergs

Like I said on community night, this should be the ANT. It would give a nice strategic choice as to wether you'd like to be able to insert some troops or work on owning the dome.
Additionally, also mentioned on outfit night was the ability to slip an infil through with a telepad. Once deployed, people can teleport through by don't translate properly through the dome. They could end up with all sorts of errors such as reduced maximum health or armor, missing inventory equipment or scrambled implants. This makes the router the proverbial siege ladder, since the flail is the trebushet.
