Insane Wish List

[Red October]

This is your wish list for your insane ideas. Chances are, none of it will get implemented. But what the hell, lets list some of the crazy stuff you thought of for the game, but for one reason or another..didn't list it....

Disclaimer: First person to flame.....is Gay. And if you are Gay....then you're Straight. (Hope I don't get into too much trouble for that one, but if anyone does get severely offended, I'll remove it). This is not a feasability analysis or game physics type of thing. Just random ideas you thought would make the game more interesting.

1) Meteor Shower. Just every once in a while, lets have small metor shower hit the planet. I'm not talking killer planet stuff, just basketball sized stuff that will sent people running for thier lives...or help you out in a fight.

2) Severe wheather. Pea Soup Fog...visibility Zer0. You could be standing right next to an enemy max and not know it. Or a tornado, blizzard, flood, you get the idea.

3) Insane wheather. How about Acid Rain....no not the stuff in LA...I mean if you stand to long in it, it starts to hurt. (I can here it now...Everyone to the Caverns!)

I do think the weather should be buffed and mandatory.

i think itwould be cool if we had flame thowers but u know every one would get it because u can kill people with in lets say 15 feet radius or if there were animals that could attack u.

Yeah foliage "to a degree" would be nice. I would have no problem, but people with lower end systems might complain.

And the reason you havent seen me on in a while is because I'm building my other chars up. My NC is already high enough. I come on my NC every now and again, but mostly play TR on EC servers now. You might be fighting against me and not even know it

I love your ideas Red October. Some random death and destruction would be welcome. It might even help the defence. Incoming! Also, love the idea of pea soupers. Though it would make my Lancer pretty useless. Oh well, it'd be fun.

And yea dscytherulez, I think the weather needs a buff. Doesn't have much of an effect, though it does look pretty. I can picture it now, the complaints about it. "The weather's too powerful. Nerf the hailstorm!"

what about "instanced zones" zones where a squad or platoon can go in, and an opposing squad or platoon can go in and do battle, locking other people out. winning the battle would somehow effect your empire positively(kinda like CC, i guess-i don't have CC). this would be fun imo for people who don't like zergs. i dont' like zergs.

VR dueling. All weapons (other than knives) and armor are available at the terminal, regardless of certs or empire. Once you're geared and ready to fight, you use a /duel Name to challenge someone and then get teleported to a fighting chamber where people can watch your holograms duke it out. You have 3 minutes to finish your match.

i love that idea! just bring the timer up some. one problem i see: alot of people might want to duel more than go fight the enemy!

Hmmm this could be put into a rather useful idea. Maybe arguments with other outfits could be settled this way or just a way to say HAHA I pwned you. with out the grief points.

It would be annoying to have to stop what I'm doing (having fun killing people) because of some random weather pattern.
