my favorite would be the pulsar laser for fighting, and a sniper rifle for other things. I don't want the bolt driver because it is too slow to reload

The bolt driver actually looks like it's quite quick to reload (relative to what you're all probably thinking).

If you've seen Saving Private Ryan, think how quickly the bible quoting American sniper reloads when he's in the belltower in the final battle. Speedy, bang. If you want to see for yourself check out the Spelletjesgarnaal_ E3_2001_PlanetSideMovie_1.wmv video.

The New Conglomerate Gauss looks like it'll be fantastic, high powered, long range and fast firing assault gun (add a range magnifier into the mix = win)!

As secondary weapons I can tell I'm going to be carrying either of the two shotguns every so often. Both high damage weapons I'll use the Flechette Rifle for it's efficiency against heavy armour and the Jackhammer for it's ability to fire all barrels and severely injure an opponent (hopefully)

Did those bullets hurt? Ghost Recon is the GREATEST! And considering that Planetside IS gonna have open fields, then I can expect something similar at some points of the game.

Of the guns I have looked at I like the gauss, the pulsar, the punisher and the Suppressor.

I am looking for something that is primarily used agianst players but possibly with minor anti-vehicle abilities. Something great at short range, but still somewhat useful at medium range.
