Hellsing

I'm not worthy, but what do you think of Alucard, Police Girl and the nightmare that is Hellsing?

I'm dying to get this series on DVD. I love Alucard, Integra, Paladin Anderson, Police Girl, etc.

I know some of you think you are bad-asses, but if you don't know Hellsing, you are a cumshot in the rain. This is close to the top of the animation ladder. It's amazing.

I spent many hours of my life watching the trials of Alucard against the unholy Undead. I watched him face the Paladin. If you haven't, don't deign to judge yourself worthy of my respect.

Hellsing rocks. Watch it or die.

edit: looks like bandwidth is hard to come by... Thanks Enron you miserable fuck.

I have all four DVDs

Police Girl's name is actually Selas Victoria or Victoria Selas, not sure which but the latter sounds better. This is indeed a very badass show, and the menus on the DVDs reflect that very freakin well, I've never seen better and cooler menus.

You lucky bastard. God, I love that series. Alucard is nothing short of the Clint Eastwood of vampires, and Paladin Anderson is nothing short of ... well ... a badass.

As for Incognito.. brrr. He's a living shitstorm.

Tis indeed a great anime.

Wow it's rare to see anime talk here...normally people flame the crap out of it anywhere other than an anime forum...

Speaking of Selas (or is it Seras? hard to tell in japanese)

Downloaded all 13 episodes off Kazaa, Loved them so much I bought the series.

Im also pondering ordering the Handcannons. They r teh purdy.

Edit: English voices suck. Anderson has a much more psychotic feel in Japanese.

Hellsing owns, and I always thought it was spelled Celas.

I also viewed Hellsing for the first time this last week. Wow, what an amazingly stunning coincidence!! LOLBBQ!!

The animation was good, the storyline made the half an hour go by quickly, but after three or four episodes I was ready to have a seizure and die. I was thankful that the anime wasn't what I was used to, i.e. really small mouth when they're not talking, enormous mouth when they are talking, etc. Pretty good stuff, but I don't think I'd watch it again. Color me wimpish.
