I work at an Internet cafe, and we leave them on all day long, and sometimes when we are there late.

Leaving your PC on all the time is a bad habit. It's bad for it. The longer you leave your PC running the more likely windows will crash the next time you use it. You need to shut down so your memory can be cleared and leaks can be fixed. Another reason is for security purposes. The more your comp is on, the more susceptible it is to remote attacks while your asleep/away.

My computer sleeps from 1130 PM to 6 PM. I'd say it had quite the break in-between startups.

I turn it off at night when I go to bed. When I get up I turn it on and **** around a bit before school at 10:30, at that time I put it on standby untill I get home at 4:00.

You suck.

RAM Def XT + Good Security > Your Intelligence.

No crashes.

24/7 unless crash (1nce or twice a month) or restart due to software install/config changes.
