Hey, sorry if this is in the wrong place.
I have right now been using the 7 day trail from fileplanet and want to continue playing Planetside as I love it But I have been told by a few people that I need to go out and buy a copy of the game, I can't just enter my credit card details anywhere and let Sony charge me $19 or whatever. But I am worried about something, will I lose my character? I mean when I enter the CD key from the copy that I have to buy does that mean I have to start from the beginning again or can I continue where the trail left off? I did try to post this on the planetside.com forums but I can't seem to login. |

I was in Open Beta. After Beta ended I got the 7-day trial. Then, for like 5 months, I didn't have the game. Once I bought it for Christmas 2003, I logged on and got my character again, all stats unchanged since the 7 day trial.

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |
