Vehicles have ammo!

Well we never really knew any details on this before...and we still dont, but this post by rogue13 proves that vehicles have ammo:

but tanks can run as long as needed. they dont run out of gas, but they do have limited ammo, which you can restock if you live long enough to do that.

I asked dave georgeson himself on the 29th when he came in for a little visit to #planetside on Gamesnet. He said that the vehicles have limited ammo and feed off of ammo from the trunk.

Yay, even more info!

So I guess people will have to decide whether they want more ammo for their vehicle weapons, or more ammo/supplies for infantry.

You ahve to carry energy cells as you said which run out of energy so they have ammo as well. Saw this on a thread on the official forums. It hurt to go on, they're all so annoying but I was bored.
