Major Battles

Im starting to think that the major battles are going to end up every Fri night between 6-12 local server time between all three empires, each will have managed to secure a continent and all three will be trying to dislodge the other 2 while defending their own cont. Huge battles would result. And easy to report who won. Whatever continents still stand at Midnight are the winners

So any other ideas on when major battles will be?

yeah more daoc references.. but.. if it's anything like that, the battles may not be big, but you can bet there will be a lot of real estate changing hands at inconvenient times, like christmas eve. Outfits will take advantage of the lack of available defense.

Whenever i feel the need for everyone to have one. Then, and only then, will people engage in a large battle.

daoc major battles were cool until one army got the other to the final defense castle that was impossible to take over and there was a 4 hour stand off

well hopefully it doesn't sound like PS will suffer from my favorite aspect of DAoC. The "oh here we are at the enemy base.. did someone bring a ram?.. no? crap" =(

lol I hated that. I remeber in the newbie battle grounds we brought a ram but didn't know how to set it up and get it to work

^yes.. that was great.. BG1.. we wait for 45 minutes while people get their alts to buy us a ram, then it would be positioned wrong or something, and it seemed like we always resorted to beating on the doors with sticks. I was too afraid to work the ram in the battle grounds though.. too much pressure, and everybody always screwed up it seemed.. especially on that damn inner door!

I think most people will log on when they gett out of school or off work. Friday night, Saturday afternoon/night, and Sunday night will be the most crowed. Wednesday 3am will be fun. hehe

i though DOAC was just ur run of the mill MMORPG, i didnt know there were large battles in there.

what are the battles like, and are they any good?
