[PICS]I dislocated my knee... again.

What my knees normally look like (knobbly, I know):

Now what my knee looks like, after the dislocation:

As you can see, my knee is swollen up like a balloon. I can't walk on it. At all.

or, don't run, because that would probably make it worse.

my question is, how did you happen to have a picture of your undislocated knee?
do you keep a file folder of pictures of undamaged parts of your body?
and if so, why?
maybe for insurance or future plastic surgery?

Knee problems suck. I've had Osgood Schlaughters (sp) before. I couldn't run or do anything for a month or so before it started to go away. Then last summer I did something to em while trying to start running again (I ran cross country for 5 years), and they broke pretty much. I went to physical therapy for 6 months or so before I just decided to screw it. They don't bother me too much now, cept when I bend down to pick something up etc.

Three ACL Reconstructions here - one on the left using the patellar tendon, two on the right with the first one using a hamstring graft, and the second one using a cadaver ligament.

Knee problems suck.

NASTAY.

Does your undead knee ever try to take control of your body and try to kill people?

I had it start a rebellion once where it incited my earlobe to twitch uncontrollably for 6 hours straight unless I gave in to its demand of a sitting through an Andy Griffith Show marathon on TV. Seems the old owner loved watching The Andy Griffith Show. Since I refuse to communicate with terrorist ligament factions, better known as the TLF, I suffered through what I call "The Great Earlobe Agitation Incident". Fortunately the earlobe was convinced through under-the-table negotiations with my nasal cavities to fall limp again. It was rough there for a while though.

That's my other knee, martyr

This happens to me nearly all the time. I would say it's worse this time, because I can't put any weight on it at all. Normally I can walk abit, but not now. I'm starting to wonder if I've damaged my muscles because they seem to be pretty inflamed.

I too suffer from knee problems (not horrible just a sore knee if a I run all day readaintball) I played football took a couple lateral hits to the side of my knee I also raced and dislocated my knee pretty badly once. It sucks preety bad when it hurts but a good days rest and ice packs often fix it.
