The other night... Corr and Eine had the brilliant idea that they should call me, problem being they live in California while I live in Philadelphia...
So today my father got the cell phone bill and lo and behold there lies the number and the charge for a cross country call ... Dad: So I just got your cell phone bill... Me: Wanna cookie? Dad: So tell me who do you know in California? Me (suprised, oh-shit-like look): Wh- what? Dad: No I'm just wondering what this number on yuor bill is... Me: Er... well... uh... friends? Dad: They ain't your friends... Me (skeptical): What? Why's that? Dad: Cause friends wouldn't let you lose your cell phone for a month... FUCK!

What the hell kind of cell phone company are you with that charges for long distance calls within the country? Not to mention, if they called you, there shouldn't be any charge, save for the use of wireless minutes.

when I went to the DR in january with a bunch of friends, I let them use my cell phone to call home. when I got back a week later, was a hell of a phone bill. $800+. I went around, collecting dues from everyone, one phone call at a time. what a journey taht was. I didnt get some of it until about a couple weeks ago.
