Its finally here.
You remember the first Planetside Recruitment Video that SG produced a year ago. Drawing more downloads than any other vid produced, including the official Planetside trailers, SG is back again with a 40 min MOVIE! Download today! File includes a README and Codec. Sturmgrenadier ( http://www.sghq.com ) is a haven for mature gamers who demand organization with their fun. We have dedicated TeamSpeak servers, extremely active forums, and a clearly defined Chain of Command that allows rank advancement for those who have the desire and ability to lead. If a mature group of players with a passion for gaming is what you are looking for, then look no further. This video was created by Pympicus and ToStev of Sturmgrenadier Planetside. It was put together with a lot of work and patience on the part of all members of SG. The video is over 40 minutes long. We hope you will all enjoy watching this as much as we enjoyed making it. NOTE: This is THE FIRST online epic machinima film ever produced. Once again, Sturmgrenadier has set the pace for others to follow. SG Main Mirror PlanetMovies.com Fileplanet.com [Link Coming Soon] Planetside Universe [Link Coming Soon?? Maybe?? I emailed twice and no word yet from PU] Thanks to the Planetside Development Team and the Community at large for making this possible.

yeah, very happy you could get the Devs to work with you. Unfortunatly some of us moviemakers have to rely upon actual Planetside conditions to do movies.
Thankyoupleasedrivethrough.

Well to be blunt, these guys are still doing PS movies, and they arent.
Bam i said it. I loved Malvision's movies, but they simply are not doing them anymore, for whatever the millions of reasons i have heard. We respect them for what they did, but they stopped. Therefore im all for somone else picking up the reigns with something like SOA. |

Tell me, did you also set the pace for half your outfit jumping ship to go TR when Enclave left you all in yellow and blue? My outfit is still waiting for you to answer our outfit versus outfit challenge. Til then, you're nothing more than any other PS outfit that gets rolled over just as much as they roll over on PS. |

About the movie, great filming I'll say but, I don't like the fact that there is more Drama and hardly any action, when there is any action an epic/drama style of music is played. |

I think my favorite part of that movie was the song from Medieval: Total War. That game had an awesome soundtrack, in addition to having outstanding gameplay. |

Yeah I noticed there was a lot of activity on Public Test Server, and not enough targets on Emerald. Shame, I was hoping maybe they'd get around to cowboying up and finally taking the TR Challenge. Red/black for teh w1n!!!11!11on1e! |

I give it 1/2 out of 5.
Be warned, this movie is 45 minutes long. Yes, Fourty-Five minutes. What is good about the movie is that it definitely captures some good coordinated attacks with Air, vehicle and infantry. It also carries you along on a story for the first half of the movie. Ok scriptwriting, good use of vocal switches between characters. This sometimes is not conveyed well over people making movies in games, this was done good. What is bad about the movie is that it is 45 minutes long, very choppy and repetitive at times. I wanted to stab my eyes out when I kept seeing drop after drop after drop on bases or Vanguards rolling or Reaver and Lib spam or...well, you get the picture. I feel that you could have probably let go of about 30 minutes of, what I call, useless film, and concentrate on actual battles you've been in. The first 10 minutes were great, a good lead up story to what you are today, but the last 34 minutes were mind numbing. Most redeeming moment in the movie is the last minute. Had me laughing my butt off, cause I'm a huge Office Space fan. So, if you've got the bandwidth available, and want to be a SG, download the video and view it. If you have no interest in it, I wouldn't bother. Now Richard, back to you...
