that seems pretty dumb/obvious to me. It just depends on what your definition of "something" is. According to them, "nothing" is something that doesn't effect the bounds of exsistence itself.

But in reality, even before the big bang, there must've been an eternal nothingness to some extent, which I guess counts as "something."
