New Weapon

I think planetside needs a new weapon.
I think there should be a moveable turret. You can only place it outside. Operates like the tr max when anchored. Isnt overpowering either. Also it takes a little bit to set it up.
Just want to know what kinda weps yall think planetside needs.

That is quite a lot to ask. A new weapon takes a huge amount of time and money to implement. It is also *very* hard to get it in, especially to make it so that it's not buggy. And then the balancing will take a while. So basically, it won't happen for a long while. But I wouldn't mind having a new weapon, but I understand that they take *forever* to get right.

Mounted turrets have been suggested more times than I can count (from tripods and bipods to emplacements such as this from PlanetSide Ideas Lab).

wow, those deployable field emplacements look really cool. i just don't know how you would deploy them (would a softie place some sort of ACE-type thing or would a vehicle from ground support cert deploy it?)

is there was a common pool turrent that acted exactly like a TR MAX, then why would anyone want to be a TR MAX?

Not saying they need one now just saying in the future it would be cool.
The turret wouldnt be as good as the max:less armor, no mobility, and less power.

i think a vehicle would be much more appropriate, somthing that large seems silly to poof from a little hand held device

Or on top of a vehicle that moves slow and has emergency brakes.
