What do u think about SOE�s sucess rate, i mean SWG EVQ Ps and all that, 2 games are already dead, Matrix online and SWG...whos next?

EQ and EQ2 are great games.
PlanetSide was quite successful.
SWG was successful..... but being a Star Wars game it would require a dev team fully aligned with the power of the force to actually make any good.

MxO.... I agree with Hamma, not quite sure what they were smoking with that one. Only thing I can think of was that they could get the license for a bargain price to make Matrix Online 2 or something....

So I'd say they do pretty well for themselves

And yes, Smedley was the President of Verant all those years ago. Probably still a few of the devs working on EQLive/EQ2, but yes I heard many of them went to make Vanguard.

Vanguard looks interesting but I fear it will be a bit to hardcore for my tasts. I heard if you are a lumberjack the tree's actually have levels and if you try to chop a high level tree it kills you.

I consider EQ2 a great game. Im currently playing it. I love the variety of races, classes, and crafting systems you can choose. Only thing I dont understand is good and evil can play together
