No it's plated gold, the case is acctualy aluminium.

And so, what if it's got a 47inch TV, your still paying $5400some(at up to a $1500 markup from some online retialers) for it. And the whole thing still costs more than a new car.

It doesn't offer anything besides that gold plated case, that you could not buy cheaper elsewhere.
