People have been talking about it for years, and now someone has done it (do not know of anyone else before this guy, so I could be wrong).
He has turn water into a fuel source. It is extremely interesting, so I thought I would share it with you guys and see what you think about it. http://ebaumsworld.com/2006/06/waterfuel.html |

This as an alternative fuel is a sham, electricity is what's really powering the fancy show.
He's useing electrolysis(he says it himself at the begining, for more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrolysis_of_water) so split water into it's component atoms, hydrogen and oxygen. Then he lights the resulting mixture on fire. Nothing special there. His 'HHo' gas is nothing but a mixture of H2 and O2, which he then lights on fire(forming water again) it's simple chemistry. Water simply does not work well as a fuel from a thermodynamics standpoint, the molecule is very stable, and requires alot of energy to break, that's why H2 and O2 react to form it, without the input of energy. That being said, it's a very cool tool that he's invented. Replacing stuff that's explosive with water for cutting and welding metals is very cool.
