It is not logical to continue to be oppressed and persecuted against. It is also not logical to lose your essence and become a drone (borg/Vanu). It is logical to fight for your life, and for the ability to overcome oppression. Thus the logical course of outcome is eliminate the threats, then take over the NC and form a Logical form of rule.


NC is the only Logical way, that and tri-barreled shotguns.. yes tri-barreled shotguns are also logical since they are... efficient

I know...DOn't spout ST facts at me. NC are anarchists. Even the new sloan "Anarchy ovber Oppression" proves that. If Vulcans wanted Anarchy they could just revert to the old ways pushing themsleves into a civil war again. You also forget that the TR is far more efficient in war. For 1,112 years, we have maintained a Legacy of Peace. No other empire in history can make this claim. The New Conglomerate has emerged from its hiding place to harry our frontlines with modified, heavy assault weaponry and gear. This renewed aggressioin confirms that the New Conglomerate is not interested in personal freedoms and liberty as they claim, but rather the development of weapons of war and the heartless slaughter of any who do not share their ideals. The Terran Republic has een in the business of war for a long time.

But that was just because the federation was about to fall. And you have to understand that spock was going to lead a rebel faction to take over the current gov (*cough* NC).

In the book sequel, Spock was leading that rebel group against the current gov since the current gov was going to destroy them all. But the rebel group was being crushed... thanks to the normal universe help though, spock and his group became the new leaders of the alternate universe federation.

I agree with you on pie BTW. I think the NVC is going a very different way than the NC. The NC just want "freedom" even though their government is only doing necessary things to keep the mob in check. That is what was happening in PS. And of course, some of the mob was able to delare themselves empires whne they saw their own chance for power. Also, I find this is the first time Vulcan and star trek politics have been put into the empire debate. I like it.
