Planetside - Bootcamp or Crossover for Mac?

Hi there. I'm somebody who would very much like to play planetside, but my primary (read: only) computer is a mac. Now, it's an intel mac so I've got bootcamp and XP on here, but some older games have trouble with XP running on bootcamp. Is that true of Planetside?

If it is, is there any way to get it running (well-ish) via a virtualizer or Crossover?
