Game Hangs on SOE Splash Screen

I just installed Planetside and I cannot get it to run. Every time I reach the SOE splash screen, the game just hangs indefinitely. I cannot find I satisfactory solution within the SOE knowledge base. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What are your system specs?

I had the same thing recently on my old PC.

It turned out that the issue was an out of date Flash player. I updated my Flash player and then the game launched as normal.

This might not be your problem but it's worth a shot...
