So I'm completely baffled. I have been trying to play Planetside on several seperate occasions today but my packet loss rockets up to around 10% making the game unplayable.
The weird thing is it's only in Planetside, I've played several other online games on steam and they are all fine, I've done several ping tests to the US East Coast area where the PS servers are (I assume) and I'm getting 0% packet loss on all those tests and pretty typical ping. Does anyone have any idea what could be going wrong or more likely what I'm doing wrong... Edit: Might be worth noting I live in the UK, not sure if that would make any difference. Being over there is likely causing the issues. I even get ping loss from time to time being on the east cost with a decent cable connection. PS is just a load of shit concerning server connection status.
