dear planetside 2 dev team,
i found that old planetside 1 wallpaper: http://images.mmosite.com/photo/imag...netside_w1.jpg and since the forgelight engine draws even better ingame image quality than the original artworks in ps1 times, i would like to challange you to recreate this picture ingame of ps2 that would be EPIC! honk if you support this idea |

Recreating that screenshot would be awesome.
I find that picture hilarious at just how pretty much everything depicted in that picture looks nothing like the finalized version. The fucking chainblade looks more like a damn sword than a handheld knife. The person in the Harasser (single man in the picture) looks like he's having a seizure or an orgasm. And the Deliverer? looks like a kids toy. Still an epic picture none the less, but funny to look at considering what the final product was. |

exactly.
but ps2 will even look better than that picture, hence my idea to recreate it for a comparison. ps1 should have looked like that, but it was just too far ahead of its time and the framerate would have been less than 1 fps at computers of that time if the game would have been anything near this picture. |

I always thought that vehicle to be a Prowler rather than a Deliverer. Of course, now that I look at it, I can see that it is obviously a Deliverer. It had wheels rather than tracks, which I didn't realise before, and it has additional turrets to the front central one, which I didn't realise before.
