Outfit, and charactor info, will there be awards.

I dont know if the Question has been asked yet but i was wondering if you will be able to view your charactors information like in the first planetside, as well as outfit information. I always thought it was cool, I mean right now you could google qwan72 and view my old charactors stats. Second question was more toward the old award system, will we be wearing our awards on our shoulders again, and if we are is there a way to incorparate like a vet award for us planetside 1 vets.

it has been confirmed, that we will get A LOT of gamedata on the internet.

so there will be possibilitys again to show of your stats on the internet. and higby sounded like you could show off far more stats than you could in ps1.

not very much info on ingame merit wearing yet, but some dev told us that they wanted to implement some merit or medal system again.

the shoulder merit thing in ps1 was kind of cool. only thing i didn´t lik was the fact that i couldn´t tell which merit someone was wearing. it was just "oh this guy has a lot of colorful merits"
a better way of distinction would rock! or a /whois function where you get to see all merits of another player to see what he is good at.

and I WANT MERITS ON MY TANKS! please give the options to put merit decals on the side of vehicles as well! especially if there will be a veteran ps1 merit. you see a tank with a golden ps1 logo on the side, follow it because this guy knows what planetside is about ;-)

Thats cool to merits on vehicles, confirmed vehicle to vehicle kills. As far as distinction on merits, they could easily set up an awards board. Just a page saying awards that can be earned in the game and what they mean. LOL blue and gold HUH :P

Would be cool if I could keep could t of how many enemies I squashed with my vanguard (the individual vehicle, not necessarily lifetime) by having the little black silhouettes like a WWII ace. Or even just a lifetime counter that's displayable on the grill so that anyone about to be squashed sees it.
