Don't know why I didn't get around to making a new account here sooner. I made a reddit account finally because of PS2, figured I should get around to registering here. Well, here's me.
Avid gamer my entire life, started gaming really seriously with Quake 2, followed by Half-Life and its mods. Got in to MMOs shortly after with UO and EQ and have been fighting that addiction ever since, hehe. I was a big fan of the original PlanetSide (still have my Phase One beta CDs). I think I played for about 3 years solid with my buddies in a smallish outfit, Ars Quantus Militis. Starting at beta, obviously, and then came and went periodically post-Aftershock as other MMOs ate my time. Planetside is like the girl you lose your virginity to, I've never really been able to get over it. There's been nothing even remotely like it.
My favorite multiplayer games would probably be Action Quake, Counter-Strike (~1.4), Day of Defeat, EQ (1&2), BF: Vietnam, Dark Age of Camelot, and PlanetSide (of course). Just to give you an idea of what style of gamer I am. EDIT: Oh yeah, currently I'm playing Deus Ex:HR, SMNC, and PlanetSide.
So, yeah, tldr: long time lurker, PS1 vet, Technology Equals Might. Can't wait to see you all on Auraxis.
